"No! No! What is that!"
Luthor panicked. Only now did the ninth-level intelligence he had always taken such pride in suddenly realize that he seemed to have fallen into a staggering conspiracy.
But Luthor's roar received no answer. Brad still lay sprawled on the ground like a lump of rotten meat, ignoring him.
Soon, the golden sun fell first. This empty space did not obey the basic laws of physics. The golden light dispersed, revealing a muscular body with a metallic sheen. Though traces of its artificial origins were readily apparent, a divine radiance flowed over it, compelling any mortal who saw it to worship.
Luthor's mind was no ordinary mortal's, so he resisted the divine radiance's intrusion into his thoughts. He also recognized something familiar in the physical form of the golden sun that had fallen first.
"This is..."
"...Professor Ivo's Amazo robot?"
"No, it has already transcended the Three Laws of Robotics and evolved into a higher form of life. So there were others fighting in this No Man's Land before we arrived."
Though Luthor was angry and frightened, his brain still worked perfectly well. He quickly identified the robot lying on the ground with dim eyes.
"But if Amazo has evolved this far, who was fighting him all this time?"
"Did the other one win?"
Luthor could not help speculating.
But soon, the red sun fell as well, disproving Luthor's theory.
Like a heavy cannonball, a deformed monster radiating red light roared as it plummeted, smashing a huge crater into the Synthetic Continent.
Dust billowed. Multiversal Doomsday roared and sprang up. Even after defeating Golden Amazo, there seemed to be something in the depths above that it feared.
A slender, pale hand pressed down from the dark, hopeless void. Compared with Multiversal Doomsday, whose body was larger
