The seven members of the Fire Hammer Squad entered the first floor of the HR Alliance Mall. The moment Luo Feng walked in, Xu Xin drew him away. The others merely smiled at the sight.

In a private room of a teahouse on the third floor of the HR Alliance Mall.

Gao Feng and the others chatted and joked while Luo Yuan browsed group chats and information on the Warrior Forum with his touchscreen phone. After quite a while, Luo Feng returned, but he did not look happy.

"Luo Feng," Chen Gu said with a grin, "that Xu Xin talked to you for so long earlier. If you ask me, that girl has a thing for you too. Winning her over shouldn't be hard! And then her brother talked to you for ages. Could he have taken a liking to you as his future brother-in-law?"

Luo Feng could not help laughing, a determined glint flashing in his eyes.

"I'd say her family looked down on him," Luo Yuan teased, glancing at Luo Feng.

"Senior Luo Yuan, how did you know?" Luo Feng looked at him.

"Take a look at this." Luo Yuan opened a post about Xu Xin on his phone, and everyone leaned over to read it.

"Quite a few people in warrior circles have praised the female manager who works Saturdays and Sundays at the bar in the Underground Alliance's first-floor lobby. Those lechers all wanted to have their fun with her. But once they checked Xu Xin's background, none of them dared make a move," Luo Yuan said with a smile.

"So this female manager is actually the eldest daughter of the Xu Family, one of the HR Alliance's twelve great families in this country. Tsk, tsk. Not someone we can afford to offend." Gao Feng drank a cup of tea to hide the embarrassment in his eyes.

"But with Luo Feng's potential, the Xu Family might be the ones begging for the match someday. So go for it, Luo Feng. We've all got your back." Luo Yuan patted Luo Feng on the shoulder.

Gao Feng, Chen Gu, Wei Tie, Wei Qing, and Zhang Ke all laughed.

As far as they were concerned, Luo Feng was a Psychic Master, and his strength would be even more terrifying in the future.

"We've already taken the grade-A Gene Potion. Before long, every member of the Fire Hammer Squad will be at War General Level. Come on, let's celebrate. We'll toast with tea instead of wine." Gao Feng raised his cup with a smile.

"Cheers!"

"Cheers!"

"I'm planning to enter County 0231 in the Wilderness Zone alone to hone my blade technique and movement skills," Luo Feng said.

"What? Alone?" Gao Feng, Chen Gu, and the others' expressions changed.

"That's right." Luo Feng smiled and nodded.

"What happened today got to you, didn't it? It stirred up your ambition to become stronger," Luo Yuan said slowly.

"Yes. You really understand me, Senior Luo Yuan." Luo Feng smiled and raised his cup to him.

"That works out. I'm planning to head into the Wilderness Zone too, to look for a certain kind of monster. I need something from their bodies," Luo Yuan said.

Only through step after step of grueling training could one reach the pinnacle of strength!

Jiangnan Base City, Northern Military Region.

When the train stopped at the military region's station, Luo Yuan, Luo Feng, and the other warriors filed out of the carriages.

The two headed toward the row of villas at the Supply Base. On the way, they spotted members of the Tiger Tooth Squad. Luo Yuan cast them a cold glance, frightening Zhang Zehu into ducking behind the Tiger Tooth captain.

"Who is that? Why are you so afraid of him?" The Tiger Tooth captain frowned, giving Zhang Zehu a scornful look.

"His name is Luo Yuan. He's very strong, probably at Intermediate Warlord level. I saw him kill a Beast General Rank Tiger Cat with a single slash in the Wilderness Zone. We tried to snipe him, but he blocked the shot," Zhang Zehu explained.

"Intermediate Warlord level? So young, yet I've hardly heard of him in War General Level circles. Seems he keeps a low profile. He'll be a formidable opponent. Since we've already offended him, put him on our Tiger Tooth Squad's priority kill list too," the captain said, narrowing his eyes. A crazed gleam flashed through them. He loved hunting geniuses in the Wilderness Zone.

"Luo Feng, watch out for the Tiger Tooth Squad. They're like venomous snakes lurking in the shadows, ready to bite at any moment," Luo Yuan told Luo Feng as they walked.

"I know. If we run into them in the Wilderness Zone, I'll wipe them out!" Luo Feng said, his voice full of murderous intent.

Luo Yuan smiled and nodded.

The next day, Luo Yuan and Luo Feng parted ways after reaching County 0231. Luo Yuan was going to find high-level Illusion Foxes and pick up mental attributes, and his destination was still some distance from the county.

The sky was gloomy, and fierce winds howled.

A figure darted about like a butterfly weaving through flowers, moving so fast that several blurred afterimages faintly appeared. Luo Yuan raced through the ruined buildings at full speed. With his mental power wrapped around his Alloy Combat Boots, he leaped more than ten meters into the air. Every Beast Soldier-level Monster that blocked his path was cut straight into pieces.

Thud!

Luo Yuan suddenly landed on the rooftop of a dilapidated ten-story building. He raised his left arm, and the electronic communication and navigation device strapped to it projected a screen. A satellite map appeared, with a red dot and a green dot flashing on it. The green dot marked his current position, while the red dot marked his destination.

Someone had responded to the bounty he posted on the Warrior Forum yesterday, saying they had seen Beast General Rank Illusion Foxes in the area marked by the red dot. That was why he had decided to take a look today. According to the satellite navigation, the Illusion Foxes were gathered inside a hundred-story skyscraper, and there seemed to be a whole pack. Luo Yuan could not help growing cautious. Any monster capable of occupying a hundred-story building had to be at least at Intermediate Beast General Level.

Luo Yuan was now quite far from the military region. He did not dare simply fly through the air. Not only would that consume a great deal of mental power, but running into flying monsters would also spell trouble.

After eating some high-energy food and drinking fresh water to replenish his stamina, Luo Yuan set off again.

Most of the monsters he encountered along the way were weak Beast Soldier Rank creatures. Whenever he came across a Beast General Rank monster wandering around, he killed it outright and collected its materials. He was now interested only in monsters at Beast General Rank or above. Along the way, he also kept picking up attributes and immediately absorbing them. He felt himself drawing ever closer to War God Level.

Three days later, Luo Yuan arrived at the entrance of a hundred-story skyscraper. The building was still fairly intact, though its exterior had long since peeled away, exposing the reinforced concrete beneath. More than half the glass wall at the front had shattered as well. Looking up, he could see quite a few monsters roaming inside.

Luo Yuan did not know which floor of the skyscraper held the Beast General Rank Illusion Foxes. He flew up on his shield, but still could not see clearly through the broken glass wall. He simply landed and began fighting his way up from the first floor. By continually picking up the various attributes these monsters dropped, he could sustain himself through battle and grow stronger with every fight.

It took him less than an hour to fight his way from the first floor to the fiftieth. Most of the creatures were packs of Beast Soldier Rank monsters. Any monster that stood in Luo Yuan's path lost its head to a single slash. His strength had grown a little too, giving him something of the feeling of a game where he was tackling the Trial Tower, killing monsters and leveling up.

Next should be the Beast General Rank monsters. Excitement shone in Luo Yuan's eyes. His hunting game had officially begun.
