History

Early Struggle and Original Ancestor’s Rise

Humanity began as a weak race treated as food by powerful alien races. Its predecessors survived repeated wars, including interrace battles across planes, and approached extinction more than once. Original Ancestor’s rise changed its position: humanity gained rich territories, cultivation resources, and subordinate races 337 357.

Original Ancestor was eventually suppressed by the Universe Origin Will. Giant Axe Founder then became humanity’s sole available Strongest One in the Universe. Although humanity remained a pinnacle race in the Primal Universe, its position in the wider Universe Ocean depended heavily on him 378 379.

The Duan Donghe Inheritance

Giant Axe Founder regarded the Duan Donghe inheritance as humanity’s best opportunity to transcend reincarnation and establish an enduring civilization. After obtaining it, Luo Yuan shared permitted foundational knowledge from the Ancient Civilization Era with humanity’s senior experts 337 356.

This knowledge supplied a systematic cultivation framework, reducing the need for experts to discover each step independently. Luo Yuan also pursued treasure exchanges with the East Emperor Holy Land to strengthen humanity immediately, since cultivating new supreme experts would take much longer 372 379.

Giant Axe Founder’s Death

Giant Axe Founder became trapped in the Dim Land and warned humanity to conceal his situation. With Original Ancestor suppressed, his absence left no active Strongest One in the Universe guarding the race. His subsequent death caused his Miniature Universe to collapse; elites and experts were rescued, but most ordinary inhabitants died 380 381 382.

Humanity’s rich territory and Luo Yuan’s inheritance made it an immediate target. The Prison Race confirmed Giant Axe Founder’s death and spread the news, intending to let the Demon Race, Zerg, and Machine Race test human defenses before intervening 382 395.

Race War and Allied Camp Defeat

Humanity concentrated its experts, geniuses, and resources in the Initial Universe. Chaos City became its command center, while promising younger experts—including Luo Feng, Hong, and Thunder God—were retained as reserves 397 418.

The first major confrontation ended in a severe Demon Race defeat. The demons lost six Universe Masters, five of whom remained in human custody. Their ancestors nevertheless rejected Luo Yuan’s attempt to exchange the captives for withdrawal from the war 415 416.

Humanity then defeated the Three Races Allied Army without losses. Rather than ending the crisis, this victory convinced other powers that humanity’s growing strength and inheritance threatened their own positions 428.

During negotiations with neutral powers, the human leaders generally offered cultivation experience for becoming a Strongest One in the Universe, refusing demands for deeper secrets. The Freedom Alliance subsequently made its own agreement with Purple Moon Holy Land and passed information to the opposing camp without informing Island Master Shihua 434 441.

In the decisive battle, Luo Yuan’s Endless Nether Sea immobilized and separated the Allied Camp’s seventeen teams. Combined with human treasures and the Ancestral God School’s Five-Colored Aurora Lake, this allowed the humans to capture large numbers of Universe Masters and secure victory 444 445 446.

Territorial Supremacy

Humanity continued developing under its ancient cultivation system. Later confrontations with the Allied Camp were generally restricted to lower-level experts, allowing emerging fighters to gain experience without unrestricted warfare between the strongest combatants 513.

Luo Yuan’s elimination of hostile Universe Masters in Jin World destroyed the Allied Camp’s ability to maintain the balance of power. Retaliatory attacks failed against the clone guarding Human Territory, and the hostile pinnacle races migrated toward the universe’s desolate outer regions 547.

Chaos City Lord organized the occupation of the surrendered territories. The resulting expansion supplied more living space and cultivation resources, beginning a prolonged period of peaceful growth 548.

World Beast Crisis

Humanity used its Virtual Universe to coordinate with friendly True Gods during the World Beast threat. When Morosa attacked Original Ancestor’s Miniature Universe, the human True Gods could not prevent his repeated attacks; Luo Yuan arrived and suppressed him inside the Star Tower 578 581.

As the wider World Beast armies approached, Luo Yuan and Chaos City Lord sought Original Ancestor’s release. The Primal Universe Origin permitted only a Divine Power Avatar, promising full release if Luo Yuan ended the crisis. Luo Yuan then assembled the Primal Universe’s True Gods and called for united resistance 598.

Transfer to the Origin Continent

After reaching God King Level, Luo Yuan returned to the Universe Ocean and arranged to bring human elites to the Origin Continent. Preparations took several hundred years and included an administrative framework that would keep humanity functioning after its senior experts departed 685 686.

The transfer included over ninety percent of humanity’s True Gods and some Universe Masters. Luo Yuan retained his Holy Land Universe as a talent-training base, with True God advancement serving as the normal qualification for future transfers. The relocated experts would cultivate in the superior environment and help administer his expanding territories 686.

Organization and Infrastructure

Leadership and Councils

  • Supreme Council — Met in the Virtual Universe’s Highest Temple to determine humanity’s future. The territorial-expansion meeting included all human experts at Universe Master level and above 547.
  • Senior leadership meetings — Giant Axe Founder convened humanity’s strongest combatants in his Virtual Universe temple; Chaos City Lord later coordinated wartime planning and diplomacy 378 421.
  • Recognition by combat strength — Luo Yuan received a throne equal in size and grade to Chaos City Lord’s while still a Universe Master, treatment normally reserved for True Gods 547.

Bases and Communication

  • Initial Universe — Original Ancestor’s Miniature Universe, held in its initial stage by the Universe Origin Will’s suppression. It housed Chaos City and provided a protected refuge 381.
  • Chaos City — Residence and training center for leading experts and geniuses; became humanity’s wartime headquarters 381 397.
  • Virtual Universe — A human-controlled platform used for councils, intelligence exchange, and strategic coordination 406 453 578.
  • True God Realm — An isolated Virtual Universe space accessible to friendly factions’ True Gods. Their access did not extend to its other planes 578.
  • Military System and monitoring stations — Supported battlefield distress calls and surveillance of enemy movements 164 397.
  • Holy Land training base — Luo Yuan’s Holy Land Universe cultivated talent for eventual transfer to the Origin Continent 686.

Allied and Vassal Service

  • Captured Universe Masters were kept in the Initial Universe, given limited opportunities to venture outside, and offered protection for their races 446.
  • Contributors could receive inheritance information on advancing to Strongest One in the Universe 446.
  • Faction members could request emergency assistance from nearby experts and were required to respond when the faction needed their aid 446.
  • Human leaders initially considered many vassals unreliable, recognizing that their allegiance depended on humanity remaining strong 418.

Racial Traits

Learning and Cultivation Potential

Human experts are described as having comparatively weak initial physical strength and gene levels, offset by exceptional learning ability, intelligence, and control 855 881.

  • Their low starting point does not prevent them from becoming universe-level overlords 855.
  • Inherited bloodlines and gene levels can improve over generations as the race’s experts grow stronger 855.
  • Human dominance is not universal: their standing varies between universes and reincarnation eras 685 855.

Bloodline Grades

Human bloodlines are divided into ten grades according to natural adult strength and cultivation potential 69.

Grade Natural strength at adulthood Notes
First Domain Lord Highest grade described 69.
Second Universe Level Reaches Universe Level without requiring the progression expected of weaker bloodlines 69.
Third–fourth Star Level Both grades share this adult level 69.
Fifth–sixth Planetary Level Both grades share this adult level 69.
Seventh–eighth Apprentice Level Both grades share this adult level 69.
Ninth–tenth No cultivation level Distinguished by talent and the probability of producing experts. Luo Yuan identified his race’s bloodline as ninth grade 69.

Technology

  • Human spacecraft technology initially lagged far behind the Machine Race’s. Human-built ships and alloys could be classified through inspection or scanning, whereas Machine Race ship materials could not be reliably identified from their exterior 99.
  • Earth later advanced substantially in technology, martial arts, bloodlines, and genes. Luo Yuan nevertheless regarded individual martial strength as the ultimate priority 685.

Strategic Resources and Treasures

Cultivation Resources

  • Duan Donghe foundational inheritance — Supplied Ancient Civilization knowledge and a systematic path from ordinary warriors to Strongest Ones in the Universe 356 416.
  • Human Race Powerhouse Cultivation Plan — Luo Yuan’s program for developing successive generations of high-level experts 426.
  • Human Race Treasury — Received numerous treasures Luo Yuan obtained in Jin World, including items he no longer needed 549.
  • Expanded territory — Increased humanity’s population capacity and access to cultivation resources 548.
  • Restricted mechanical-flow treasure access — Luo Yuan raised Jin World exchange authorization requirements to prevent rival forces from obtaining enough power to threaten humanity 548.

Major Defensive and Battlefield Assets

These treasures belonged to individual experts but were used to defend humanity.

  • Divine Axe — Giant Axe Founder’s Supreme Supreme Treasure; raised his combat strength to that of a Peak Strongest One in the Universe 372.
  • Tomb Ship — Luo Yuan’s exceptionally durable vessel, used to transport combat teams and confront enemy supreme experts 399 401 426.
  • Star Tower — Luo Yuan’s palace-type Supreme Supreme Treasure, central to wartime deterrence and Morosa’s capture 426 581.
  • Black Prison Tower — Lord of Darkness’s palace-type Supreme Supreme Treasure, used for suppression and sealing 406 416.
  • Palm Universe — Chaos City Lord’s treasure; manifested a Miniature Universe and controlled space-time during the decisive battle 445 446.
  • Peak Supreme Treasure reserves — Expanded through Luo Yuan’s exploration and treasures recovered from experts killed aboard the Tomb Ship 398.

Key Members

  • Original Ancestor — Established humanity’s pinnacle-race status. His Initial Universe remained its principal refuge while he was suppressed 357 381.
  • Giant Axe Founder — Humanity’s active supreme protector after Original Ancestor’s suppression. His death triggered the race’s greatest immediate military crisis 379 381.
  • Chaos City Lord — Coordinated humanity’s survival strategy, later restored its active Strongest One protection, and eventually reached Eternal True God 382 454 686.
  • Luo Yuan / Lord Hun Yuan — Supplied the Duan Donghe inheritance, devised cultivation plans, led decisive battles, and enabled humanity’s transfer to the Origin Continent 379 426 547 686.
  • Lord of Darkness — Frontline commander and wielder of the Black Prison Tower; specialized in capturing and sealing enemy experts 401 406.
  • Lord Peng Gong — Frontline commander whose Supreme Supreme Treasure contributed to humanity’s peak sixth-order combat strength 416 426.
  • Luo Feng, Hong, and Thunder God — Promising reserve experts protected during the race war as part of humanity’s future fighting force 397 415.

Relations with Other Powers

  • Hongmeng Alliance — Humanity’s wider alliance network. Victorious wartime allies joined it to establish closer, lasting ties 446.
  • Piaofeng Alliance and Thorn Ring Alliance — Second-tier powers that supported humanity during its crisis; Piaofeng committed nineteen Universe Masters 418.
  • Demon Race, Zerg, and Machine Race — Longstanding territorial rivals that jointly attacked after Giant Axe Founder’s death. Their later losses forced territorial withdrawal and reduced them to the bottom of the Primal Universe’s second tier 382 396 547 550.
  • Prison Race — Spread news of Giant Axe Founder’s death to provoke attacks while avoiding the first confrontation itself 395 417.
  • Ancestral God School — Assisted in the decisive battle in exchange for breakthrough inheritance information, then withdrew because its role represented the Primal Universe Origin Will rather than permanent allegiance to humanity 445 446.
  • East Emperor Holy Land — Negotiated inheritance-for-treasure exchanges with Luo Yuan, but also hoped humanity’s desperation would provide access to deeper knowledge 374 447.
  • Purple Moon Holy Land — Sought to obstruct Luo Yuan and humanity’s rise, supported hostile maneuvers, and later lost most of its Universe Masters 441 453 547 548.
  • Yan God Race — Separated from humanity under Yan Emperor, who thereafter treated humans as an enemy race 418.
  • Thunderstorm Star Clan — Became an irreconcilable enemy through Haolei Star Lord’s involvement in plotting Giant Axe Founder’s death 455.

Human Populations Beyond the Primal Universe

Origin Continent Human Race Alliance

The Human Race Alliance was distinct from the civilization Luo Yuan led from his home Universe Ocean. It united human-founded kingdoms and factions on the Origin Continent, with its main authority held by five peak God Kings. Despite their shared identity, its members came from different reincarnation eras and maintained deep rivalries 655 685.

Luo Yuan refused to join because the alliance offered little benefit and risked entangling him in internal struggles. He agreed only to consider helping during a crisis, retaining the right to refuse and to eliminate human experts who opposed him 661.

The alliance ranked among the Origin Continent’s middle-tier forces. During the later interworld war, it was destroyed; most of its members ultimately fell in internal fighting. Luo Yuan did not intervene 673 725.

Humans in Later Universes

  • In a later damaged universe, humanity ranked fairly high among the Ten Great Forces, benefiting from control of rich territory and important inheritances 881.
  • That universe’s origin will favored human potential and invested resources in cultivating human experts. Humans consequently held an overwhelming advantage in both expert numbers and strength 924.
