Time returned to when the Titan Giant Ape had heard the Scarlet King's roar and taken Xiao Wu away from the Shrek group.
By now, the Titan Giant Ape had carried Xiao Wu back to the lakeside where he lived. Only then did he put aside the panic in his heart and lower Xiao Wu from his palm.
Xiao Wu still looked somewhat dazed. After all, so many things had happened in quick succession that her mind had yet to catch up.
Seeing her like this, the Titan Giant Ape asked, "Sister Xiao Wu, are you all right?"
His question finally brought Xiao Wu back to her senses. She shook her head and said, "I'm fine." Then, as though something had occurred to her, she stared at the Titan Giant Ape and said, "Er Ming, why did you come all the way to the outer region to find me? I never told you to come, did I? And why did you throw Yuhao away?"
The Titan Giant Ape scratched his head. "Sister Xiao Wu, you've been away for so long that I missed you a little. Besides, Big Brother was cultivating at the bottom of the lake and wouldn't come out. When I sensed your aura, I ran over. Also, what's a Yuhao?"
Er Ming's words left Xiao Wu speechless. Then she said, "Yuhao isn't a thing. She's a person-the one you grabbed just now and then threw away. And do you know, Er Ming? That throw of yours might very well have killed Yuhao."
Only then did the Titan Giant Ape remember that he had indeed grabbed the wrong person while trying to catch Sister Xiao Wu. Once he saw that it wasn't her, he had casually tossed that person aside.
"I suppose that did happen," the Titan Giant
