For Huo Yuhao at that moment, losing the Golden Dragon Spear meant losing a marker with which to find his target. It was like losing his point of reference on a boundless sea; the possibility of reaching his destination would then fall infinitely close to zero.
As for going to where the Golden Dragon Spear had disappeared to search for it, that was essentially a fool's dream. After all, there was no direction within the Space-Time Turbulence. More importantly, the Space-Time Turbulence was not stationary.
What seemed to be the same location could lead to different separations in time if entered at different moments, even just a few seconds apart. This was another problem Huo Yuhao had gradually realized after stepping into the Space-Time Turbulence.
As for the two remnant souls that had forced their way into his Sea of Consciousness, Huo Yuhao did not have much time to spare for them now. He needed to find a suitable point of reference to establish his direction.
Yet within this Space-Time Turbulence, that was the hardest thing of all.

He would rely on the perception of his power of fate to avoid every warning of danger, then advance in a direction that gave him no warning.
