The Star Luo Empire troops surrounding this region posed no obstacle to Huo Yuhao. He could destroy them outright or simply slip past them.
For now, Huo Yuhao chose the latter. After bypassing the troops, Huo Yuhao and the others wove through the dense woods until they reached a hole concealed by vegetation and rocks.
One look told Huo Yuhao that this was not the only exit. It did not even qualify as a normal passage, merely somewhere a few scattered people came and went.
The entrance was so narrow that a single person could barely squeeze through. It could not support passage on any larger scale.
Huo Yuhao could now sense the surrounding plants to learn the terrain, or simply use Spiritual Detection to figure it out.
But Huo Yuhao did neither, merely following Lingyin here. At this point, he was putting on an act for Lingyin before him.
Lingyin hesitated at the entrance, not daring to take another step forward.
Seeing this, Huo Yuhao said, "What is it? Are you afraid they won't spare you if you go back, or do you want to give your life for the Green Skull Organization here?"
Lingyin said nothing. She knew the price of returning like this, and she also knew that the person behind her could kill her outright. Lingyin did not know whether Green Skull's leader could kill Huo Yuhao, but she knew that whichever side won, nothing good awaited her.
Lingyin did not know who this Huo Yuhao was, nor did she understand why she had not killed her yet. If the goal was merely to find an entrance to the Green Skull Organization, that goal had already been achieved, and she should have outlived her usefulness.
Yet she was still alive, which meant she still had value.
