Huo Yuhao recovered and took control of Chen Ying'er and the twelve Holy Guards inside the Eternal Tower. He brought Chen Ying'er and Mai Dou to face Long Haochen and the others, who prepared for a confrontation.

• Chen Ying'er went alone to retrieve Mai Dou from the chamber where Huo Yuhao was imprisoned.
• Mai Dou and Huo Yuhao vanished when Chen Ying'er reached for him, and Huo Yuhao appeared beside her, preventing her from moving or contacting the others.
• Huo Yuhao suppressed Chen Ying'er with Spiritual Power and returned the trembling Mai Dou to her hands.
• Huo Yuhao said he was going to meet his senior brother and senior sister, then led Chen Ying'er and the twelve Holy Guards to Long Haochen and the others.

Long Haochen and the Dawn of Light Demon Hunt Squad launched their final assault on Huo Yuhao in the Eternal Tower, but he survived their attacks and revealed that the battle was not over. He seized Sheng Cai'er and pulled Long Haochen and Yating into the Eternal Plane.

• Huo Yuhao and Long Haochen regained consciousness, and King Easton, the Sacred Dragon, and the Eternal Angel appeared beside Long Haochen.
• Long Haochen asked the three to help him fight Huo Yuhao, and they attacked him as the Eternal Angel recognized his angelic aura.

Huo Yuhao fought Long Haochen and tried to make him accept the future he had foreseen, but Long Haochen chose to believe in Haoyue and humanity’s eventual victory. Huo Yuhao used the Power of Fate to make Long Haochen witness the destruction in his vision, and both collapsed as an unknown voice spoke from within Huo Yuhao’s consciousness.

• Long Haochen blocked Huo Yuhao’s attack on the Eternal Angel and challenged him to explain why he should abandon his companions for an uncertain prophecy.
• Huo Yuhao knocked the Eternal Angel unconscious with Spiritual Power and asked Long Haochen whether he still rejected the future he had described.

• Huo Yuhao followed a call through a vision of the universe and watched an immense being shape matter and energy into a celestial body.
• The being took Huo Yuhao’s form, identified herself as unlike Douluo Star’s Plane consciousness, and asked how he planned to deal with Austin Griffin.
• She showed Huo Yuhao Austin Griffin destroying planets, dying and returning, and repeating his cycle of destruction.
• Huo Yuhao asked whether this made their efforts meaningless, and the being explained that creation and destruction were intertwined but that Huo Yuhao could not disregard Austin Griffin’s victims.
• The God of Creation urged Huo Yuhao to choose what he believed was right, then ended their conversation across time, and Huo Yuhao awoke in pain.

Huo Yuhao recovered in the Eternal Domain and reconsidered how to deal with Haoyue and the coming God of Calamity, Austin Griffin. He reconciled with Long Haochen, explained what he knew and his revised plan, then asked Long Haochen what he thought of his father.

• Huo Yuhao realized the Eternal Domain had healed him and reached out to Haoyue, secretly placing a wisp of rose-gold Power of Fate inside it.
• Haoyue shielded Long Haochen from Huo Yuhao, while Huo Yuhao recognized that Haoyue and Austin Griffin could be considered separate beings and that the ninth head would soon appear.
• Long Haochen woke, remembered visions of the Holy Demon Continent's destruction, and learned from Huo Yuhao that those events were real and inevitable without intervention.

As Long Xingyu prepared to coordinate an attack on the enemy reinforcements, a powerful figure approached and challenged him to their long-awaited duel.

• Leng Xiao ordered the Demon Race positions to stop bombarding Imperial Dragon Pass as their troops neared the outer wall’s ruins.
• Imperial Dragon Pass’s defenders responded with Magic Cannons and magic, inflicting heavy casualties on the advancing demons, who relied on Soul Tool Shields and sought cover.
• A group of demons struggled to use their Soul Tools; their attempt to fire a Soul Cannon drew attacks that killed two of their five members.
• Long Xingyu watched the battle and considered attacking the Demon Race reinforcements, but held back to contact the others first.

Long Xingyu faced Demon God of Battle Frenzy A Nan alone on a snowy mountain, but A Nan’s skill and strength quickly overwhelmed him. As A Nan’s questions exposed Long Xingyu’s fear and the Divine Throne’s rejection of him, Long Xingyu was sent flying again.

• A Nan appeared and challenged Long Xingyu, who sent the five Eternal Heroes to scout the area while he prepared to fight alone.
• Long Xingyu summoned the Doom and Slaughter and Divine Throne and attacked A Nan with the Battle-Slaying Whirling Circular Sword.
• A Nan redirected Long Xingyu’s rotation and struck him hard enough to collapse the sword technique and hurl him into the ground.
• A Nan questioned why Long Xingyu had not grown and why his state of mind had regressed, but Long Xingyu responded by attacking again.

• Fixed Soul Cannon Shells struck Imperial Dragon Pass, wounding defenders and destroying parts of the wall as a Demon Hunt Squad girl feared her captain had fallen from the rampart.
• Defenders assembled inside the inner city for close-quarters combat, while Ling Xiao healed retreating soldiers and residents including Bai Yue moved supplies.

• Demon God Emperor Feng Xiu learned that the prophecy remained a sea of chaos and ordered the Demon Gods to join the battle against Imperial Dragon Pass.
• The leaders of the Six Great Temples reinforced the pass and tended to the wounded as Leng Xiao discovered that Yue Ye and A Bao had returned with the troops.
• Leng Xiao learned that Yue Ye and the Black Dragon Guards had knocked out nearly a hundred wounded humans to bring them back from the battlefield.

• Demon God Emperor Feng Xiu destroyed a hidden target, then blocked Long Haochen's sword strike and saw him arrive with the Purple-Gold Haoyue Sword.
