Beneath the sea, a school of Goldeen was foraging.
This was a relatively small school of Goldeen, with only a level 27 Goldeen as its leader and no successfully evolved Seaking.
Even so, these Goldeen lived quite leisurely lives here. Their leader took them foraging together every time, allowing them to fend off some predators as a group. At the moment, the Goldeen leader was flirting with its mate.
The leader kept rubbing against its mate's body to show affection, a picture of harmony and happiness.
Yet just as the leader was enjoying this domestic bliss, an unwelcome visitor suddenly appeared.
A Carvanha sped over, opened its mouth, and sank its sharp teeth viciously into the Goldeen that was the leader's mate. The Goldeen struggled in pain, blood spilling out and staining the surrounding seawater red. After landing its strike, Carvanha immediately began to flee.
The Goldeen leader instantly flew into a rage. As the leader, how could it tolerate its own mate being attacked right under its nose?! They might not stir up trouble, but when someone pushed them around, they certainly could not cower!
The Goldeen leader immediately summoned its kin and gave chase. They had to teach this fellow a harsh lesson!
Carvanha kept fleeing ahead, occasionally turning back to fire another Water Gun, making sure the Goldeen stayed angry and kept pursuing it.
About fifteen Goldeen swam swiftly behind Carvanha. The Goldeen leader burned with fury, blasting out one Hydro Pump after another. After dodging them by the narrowest of margins, Carvanha tilted its head upward and began swimming toward the surface. The school of Goldeen pursued relentlessly, following Carvanha closer and closer to the surface. Carvanha leaped out of the sea, and the Goldeen leader immediately leaped after it.
