Toxic Spikes lay scattered everywhere as Drapion waited for an opening. Its tail rose high, poised to attack.
"Poison Jab!"
Drapion lunged forward, poison gleaming on its two pairs of huge pincers and its tail as it stabbed viciously at Floette.
"Flo!" Floette flew higher, a green Energy Ball gathering in front of it.
"Flo!"
Drapion raised its forebody, and its Poison Jab struck.
Floette released Energy Ball. Drapion slashed into it with Poison Jab, rupturing the ball and setting it off in midair.
The attack was not over. Pollen Puff came hurtling in and burst amid the smoke. As Drapion fell, pollen covered its body. A numbness spread through it, and it actually fell into paralysis.
"Tch, pretty dirty." Song Yinghan frowned. "Torment, then use Poison Fang!"
Drapion used Torment, then opened its mouth and lunged at Floette with Poison Fang.
Floette used Fairy Wind. Although Drapion's speed was affected somewhat, it still sank its teeth firmly into Floette.
"Flo!" Floette cried out in pain, suffering a severe injury.
Drapion frantically pumped venom through its teeth. Without Safeguard, Floette would already have been poisoned.
Fortunately, its Sniper Ability had not activated. Otherwise, Floette really would have been taken out in one hit.
Cheng Tian was startled. Now, he finally recognized two facts.
