He Xisong nodded. "Then you can make the first move."
Cheng Tian already had a plan in mind. From the information panel, he could see that this Gligar's move pool contained everything it ought to have learned. If it unleashed its full strength, whether Cheng Tian could win was hard to say.
So Frogadier had to finish everything in a single decisive assault.
"Could you give us some time to prepare?"
He Xisong paused, then nodded. "Sure. I'll give you plenty of time. I want to see just how powerful your strongest burst can be."
"All right." Cheng Tian looked at Frogadier. "Frogadier, keep using Swords Dance!"
Frogadier began its Swords Dance, stacking boosts to its attack.
He Xisong did not have Gligar attack, instead waiting patiently. "Rock Polish."
Gligar began polishing its body to increase its speed, patiently awaiting Frogadier's attack.
Five minutes later, Frogadier absorbed the final three swords into its body, its aura already at its peak.
He Xisong also put away his smile and began to take things seriously.
"Aerial Ace!"
Frogadier pushed off with its right leg, actually stamping a deep footprint into the ground. Its body shot out like an arrow loosed from a bow, then vanished in midair.
Gligar abruptly swung its pincers and turned around, just as Frogadier's kick struck one of its pincers. With the point where their bodies met as the center, Gligar tipped backward and retreated, while Frogadier dropped from the air.
He Xisong nodded. The power behind that strike was decent.
"We're not done yet!" Cheng Tian shouted. "Use Aerial Ace again!"
