Nalu tried to contact the authorities in China, but the signal was so badly disrupted that there was nothing but static.

The staff aboard the plane were in chaos too. This aircraft was equipped with China's latest autonomous flight system. There was, of course, a captain aboard, but switching to manual control would still take a long time. For now, the plane could only follow its scheduled flight path.

"Roar!" The terrifying dragon's roar rang out again. An enormous claw emerged from the hole, pitch-black scales gleaming upon it. Its immense, terrifying presence made everyone's legs go weak merely looking at it from afar.
"Look! There's a claw over there!" Huang Zequan shouted.
"Is that a Pokémon?!" another unidentified Elite Four member speculated. "What is it?! A guardian deity?!"
Cheng Tian's heart seemed to skip several beats. The others did not know, but he knew who that claw belonged to.
