Following the principle of beating a drowning dog, Greninja showed no mercy. After landing Night Slash, it fired a point-blank Gunk Shot, coated both fists in Ice Punch and its legs in Liquidation, and hammered away at the weak spots.
Strike while you're sick and take your life! While it couldn't move, Greninja had to get in a few more punches!
Greninja struck like the wind, wishing it could grow two more arms and use another two moves. If it hadn't reacted quickly enough earlier, sacrificing a great deal of stamina in an instant to create a Substitute before using Dig to evade, that move really would have knocked it out in one hit!
The poor Kingdra had become a punching bag. After being kicked into the air, it took five Water Shuriken to the belly. Already short-tempered, Kingdra instantly lost all reason and activated Outrage!
5 It had to be said that this move caught everyone off guard. Logically, Kingdra should have needed more time to recover its stamina before it could move again, yet it forced itself to activate Outrage during that window, solely to teach the Greninja before it a lesson.
Kingdra's eyes turned blood-red, and its entire presence instantly soared to an utterly terrifying level.
"Tch, I didn't want to use this move. Once it uses it, it loses all reason." The opposing team captain slowly took off his glasses.
"But you're really pissing me off! We can lose today's match! But you're getting off this field!!!"
And so a chase began.
Greninja was the one fleeing, and the now irrational Kingdra was the one pursuing. Kingdra was like an out-of-control drill bit, spinning as it stuck doggedly to Greninja's backside. With Greninja's current stamina, even the slightest graze would knock it out.
