The captain's cabin... should be here... Cheng Tian thought.

These old Spanish pirate ships all had the same layout: the captain's cabin above, the food stores at the back, and the crew's quarters and gunpowder storage below.

Cheng Tian and Cao Min slowly swam toward the captain's cabin through the bone-chilling seawater. They pushed at the corroded iron door. It could no longer open properly, and part of its lower edge had become embedded in the wooden planks.

Greninja motioned for them to move aside. Cheng Tian made a hand signal, and his Greninja and Milotic readied Water Shuriken and Hydro Pump.

Greninja took a deep breath, kicked open the rust-covered iron door, and swiftly darted aside. The next instant, the readied Water Shuriken and Hydro Pump blasted straight inside. A powerful surge of water was forced out, stirring up the silt in the cabin. After waiting a long while to make sure there was no movement inside, Greninja took the lead and went in.

Cheng Tian and Cao Min followed close behind, leaving Milotic to guard the doorway.

The captain's cabin was roughly fifty square meters, and the light was so dim that they could not see anything clearly.

Cao Min reached up and pressed his helmet, making a small pair of goggles pop out from the top. Seeing Cheng Tian's puzzled expression, Cao Min pulled the goggles down from Cheng Tian's helmet and helped him put them on.

Instantly, the pitch-black surroundings turned green, and they could just make out the state of the captain's cabin.

A skeleton sat in the center of the room. Though years of soaking in seawater had left it without a scrap of flesh, the black leather-covered hat on its head and its eye patch still identified it as the captain.
