Golisopod quickly stood up and bared its sharp claws again, letting Cheng Tian see the gap in strength between the two sides with complete clarity.
His approach to the rest of the battle became much clearer. Seeing Tinkaton and Florges sent off the field before they could play their intended roles, Cheng Tian decided to break through finesse with brute force.
Aggron and Greninja exchanged a glance. The two old comrades understood each other at once and charged in, one swinging a Thunder Punch, the other carrying its Katana. They attacked from front and rear, hoping to catch Golisopod off guard. But Golisopod was no pushover either. It quickly leaped up and scraped its armor against the ground to speed up its use of Iron Defense, then charged toward Greninja.
Greninja's Liquidation struck its body as though striking a steel plate. The gap in strength, the lack of a type advantage, and Golisopod's extremely high defense meant that the slash left only a crack.
"Greninja, get behind Aggron and use Swords Dance!"
Cheng Tian shouted, "Aggron! Use Body Press after Iron Defense!"
"Roar!" Aggron used Iron Defense, then swiftly hurled its enormous body forward, even snapping a large tree along the way.
Golisopod raised both claws to meet the attack. Even with its strength, it struggled to withstand the terrifying weight of a Heavy Metal Aggron and staggered back two steps. Aggron swept its tail out, lashing Golisopod's abdomen with Iron Tail.
"Roar!" Aggron freed one hand and punched the ground. In an instant, the earth shattered inch by inch. A terrifying Earthquake spread outward with Aggron at its center, bringing disaster upon countless trees. Golisopod tried to leave, only to have its arm seized, and suffered tremendous damage.
Greninja retreated far away and began concentrating on performing Swords Dance
