Cheng Tian discovered that the reason he could not enter his own shadow was simply that it moved along with him. Some parts of his body could still enter it.
For example, when Gengar was in his shadow, he could easily reach his hand inside to retrieve things.
That raised a question: could he enter his shadow as long as he put his legs inside too?

Gengar Teacher patted Cheng Tian on the shoulder. Cheng Tian instinctively turned around and met a pair of eyes shining with hypnotic light.

Long Weixi rolled her eyes at him. "Watch it, or I'll sacrifice you."
An unexpected sight unfolded. Gengar Teacher made a grasping motion beneath Cheng Tian's floating body, and in an instant, the shadow below him began shrinking little by little, as though something were sucking it up. A Shadow Ball also began forming in Gengar Teacher's hand.
This Shadow Ball was different from an ordinary one. It looked almost solid, as though it had weight.
Wen Xu stood behind Cheng Tian's Gengar, patted Gengar on the back, and spoke in a cool, clear voice.
"If you and he can master this technique, he'll have another way
