Gengar used Will-O-Wisp to light the way beside Cheng Tian, with nothing but the cries of cicadas filling their ears.
After they had walked for a long time, the air around them suddenly grew cooler and more humid.
They were getting closer and closer to their destination.
The moon rose into the sky, scattering moonlight over the ground. At last, the Lake of Wisdom appeared before Cheng Tian.
"Mm, this is the place."
Cheng Tian looked around, but there was nothing except the shimmering lake.

"All right, all right, you're worried about being discovered, right? Then go dormant," Cheng Tian said casually, and the system promptly fell silent.
Now then... where was Uxie?
Of the Lake Guardians, Cheng Tian had already met the pink one, Mesprit, who had quite a nasty temper.

"Uxie?!" Cheng Tian hurriedly looked above the lake, but there was nothing there. Yet the reflection remained on the water.
"Gengar!" Gengar flew straight over and circled above the reflection for quite a while, but couldn't find any trace of Uxie.
"Gengar! Try Dazzling Gleam!"

A pink shock wave burst out instantly, but after Dazzling Gleam faded, there was still no movement around them. If there were some sort of alternate-dimensional space here, they definitely would have been able to detect it.
