High above the Pacific Ocean, an utterly exhilarated Noivern carried Cheng Tian through aerobatic maneuvers. Compared with three years ago, Noivern had grown far, far stronger.
After Cheng Tian died, it had gone to Trial Peak of its own accord to hone itself. In those three years, it had never stopped striving to grow stronger for even a moment.
Now that its closest Trainer had appeared before it again, the excitement in Noivern's heart was easy to imagine.
"Slow down, slow down." Cheng Tian laughed from its back.
Noivern trained extremely hard every day, and scars of all sizes covered its body. They only made it look even more savage and fierce.
"Let me think... it was probably somewhere around this stretch of ocean?" Cheng Tian said. "Noivern, use Supersonic."
"Roar!" Its enormous ears emitted peculiar sound waves, like some kind of magnetic resonance, shooting toward the Pacific Ocean below.
The magnetic waves penetrated the ocean's surface and shot toward the cold, pitch-black seafloor. Cheng Tian was still a little doubtful of his hazy memories. "Did I remember wrong?"
The next moment, the calm sea instantly became a mass of surging waves. A rift opened in the ocean, and the waters rose. Noivern rapidly climbed higher into the sky, while a satisfied smile appeared on Cheng Tian's face.
Beneath the rift in the ocean, an enormous inverted-pyramid structure hovered in place. A small, excited figure sat atop it.
Within the exposed faces of the parted ocean on either side, a beautiful body flickered in and out of sight. It was swimming upward along one face at incredible speed. Finally, it burst out of the sea in one go. Its pure white body and noble bearing, accompanied by droplets of seawater refracting the sunlight, formed a beautiful, captivating picture.
