After a full day of training, school was finally out. Walking home, Cheng Tian was clearly in a good mood.
It was a little windy that afternoon, so there were not many clouds in the sky. If nothing unexpected happened that evening, perhaps he might even see the moon?
Cheng Tian had originally planned to head straight to the Pokémon Center and have the two little ones learn their moves, but they were tired after training for so long. He would give them a break first!
Some younger students had finished school at the same time. Watching the children happily fooling around along the road, Cheng Tian suddenly felt as though he had returned to his elementary school days.
People always said that the older you grew, the less happiness you had. It was true. As children, they dreamed of growing up, only to start missing those carefree childhood days once they grew up and saw what society was like.
When he reached the entrance to his residential complex, Cheng Tian suddenly felt the urge to stop at a little shop, where he picked up two fifty-cent packs of Weilong and a two-yuan bottle of old-fashioned soda.
These had all been his childhood favorites. As he grew older, for some reason, his appetite for treats was no longer as strong as it had been when he was little. Since he had spotted them today, he might as well revisit those memories!
He walked over to the exercise equipment downstairs in the complex, where some elderly people sat chatting while watching their grandchildren play.
Cheng Tian let the two little ones out for some fresh air, then tore open a pack of Weilong.
"Hehe, what do you think, Frogadier? This is a piece of my childhood, you know. Want a taste?"
