The Far Voyage Sea Route was more than an endless expanse of ocean.
Many islands lay scattered across those miraculous waters!
For instance, at the northernmost end of the route, a landmass lay hidden deep within thick fog. Its name was the Fiore Region!
It was a small landmass, shaped like a flower in full bloom!
This modest stretch of land also held cities where humans lived. They were scattered across the plains in southwestern Fiore and named for the four seasons!

There were almost no traces of roads between the cities. In fact, Fiore had no roads in the traditional sense!
None of the people living here used Pokémon Balls. They often kept Pokémon at their sides and cared for them whenever needed.
There was something deeply ironic about that!
The coastline of the Sinnoh Region lay a relatively short distance north of Fiore. Yet compared with continents like Sinnoh and Hoenn, the people of Fiore seemed closer to truly living naturally alongside Pokémon!

Fiore was not governed by the Pokémon League, but by a civilian organization called the Pokémon Ranger Union!
Much like the Pokémon League's Investigators, this organization was responsible for maintaining Public Security in Fiore.
Winter Welcome Town, inside the northernmost peak of the Cyclamen Mountain Range.
Another secret organization was hidden here.
It had begun as nothing more than a pirate band formed to explore the deep sea and hunt for treasure!
But time bred greater ambition!
Gradually, this pirate band had become an organization that carried out all manner of activities in pursuit of finding the Temple of the Sea-Yaksha, obtaining the Tears of Miracles, and returning Fiore to the mainland.
