Heading east along Route 211, there was a distinctive valley amid the vast mountain range of Mt. Coronet. It allowed small airships to pass through a mountain saddle and safely reach the other side without having to fly all the way over the summit.
The eastern end of Route 211 connected to a small town.
Neatly tended valleys and wheat fields surrounded farms and mills scattered across the small plain. Low, lush green hills encircled it, and a charming little town nestled between the plain and the hills.
A path beside the fields ran through the town and stretched into the distance.
The town really was small, with a modest population. Compared with Eterna City and Jubilife City, at least, it seemed positively tiny. But no one would underestimate it. This was one of the most important towns in the Sinnoh Region!
Celestic Town!
An ancient town that had preserved its history and carried it into the present!
Many researchers believed Celestic Town was the birthplace of the Sinnoh Region. After all, the earliest "Sinnoh ruins" and "legends of the Lake Guardians" were found here, accounting for a significant part of Sinnoh's history!
What was more, this had once been the Ancient Retreat, a sacred site of the Celestica People during the Hisui era! Yet traces of Celestic Town had appeared here at the very dawn of the Sinnoh Continent, a fact that carried intriguing implications.
At the very center of town stood the famous Celestic Ruins, which were also an enormous shrine! A mural of the Lake Guardians was etched into the walls inside, and it was the earliest historical mural ever discovered!
On the western side of town, at the foot of a hill, stood the Sinnoh Ancient Historical Research Institute!
This was where Cynthia's grandmother, Professor Carolina,
