Most of the people staying here were Trainers who had come to the island to train in battle and seek opportunities, hoping to receive guidance from Gym Leaders or even senior Pokémon League officials...
Um... there actually weren't many Trainers who had come simply to challenge the Battle Zone!
After all, the Pokémon League's protection of the island and its near-total lockdown meant that, apart from some high-level Trainers and major families and organizations, very few people knew much about this place!
That was why, in the future, Scott would travel from region to region, constantly searching for promising Trainers and inviting them to challenge the Battle Frontier...
It was a job only someone with tremendous perseverance could handle!
At that moment, Kofu lay on the bed in his room with his arms behind his head, gazing out the window, a little lost in thought.
Thinking back on his earlier defeats, Kofu couldn't help feeling helpless... it wasn't just the rules here. More importantly, those so-called Battle Brains were ridiculously strong! Even without using their own Pokémon, the gap in experience and tactics between them was impossible to overcome!
Though he had only challenged-and only met-two of the Battle Facility owners...
That feeling of giving it everything he had and still getting nowhere... he felt utterly powerless!
