In a lush forest in the Kanto Region, sunlight spilled through gaps in the leaves, forming patches of light like golden chains suspended in midair. This forest had always been peaceful, as though asleep. Today, however, its tranquility was broken by the arrival of two humans.
The two figures walked slowly along the forest path, their steps light and their bearing relaxed. Sunlight fell over them, illuminating the smiles and contentment on their faces.
Their figures shifted between light and shade, sometimes surrounded by bright patches of sunlight, sometimes sheltered by shadow.
"Why did we come here?"
A slightly cool yet gentle female voice rang out, tinged with puzzlement as she questioned the boy beside her.
At the side of the path, the boy stopped. He smiled faintly, glanced at the grass at his feet, then took some Pokémon Food from his backpack. He carefully set the food beside the grass and waited quietly.
Soon, with a rustling sound, a tiny figure poked its little head out of the grass. Its eyes were full of wariness and curiosity as it cautiously studied the two humans before it, drawn at the same time by the food's enticing aroma.

The little creature watched the humans before it, trying hard to sense their presence.
Finally, it seemed to decide that the humans meant it no harm, and slowly approached the food.
It sniffed with its nose, and the aroma flowed into its heart like a clear spring. A look of bliss appeared in its eyes. Then it opened its mouth and cautiously took a tiny bite, followed by a second, and a third... Its guard gradually dropped, and it began to relish this rare treat.
