The old man asked him to accomplish a task, promising him an extraordinary opportunity once it was done.
Now Bi Yunfei had used the Origin-Devouring Great Art to absorb all the True Qi Su Qiu had cultivated over a lifetime. Su Qiu's meridians had all been destroyed, leaving a cripple, but even so, the True Qi of a True Self Realm expert was pure and vast as the sea. Once the Origin-Devouring Great Art was unleashed, it only took in and never released. According to the old man, when cultivated to its utmost, this technique could devour everything in heaven and earth.
That tremendous mass of True Qi surged and battered its way through Bi Yunfei's body, running wild beyond his control. The violent backlash left him in unbearable agony, nearly bursting his body apart.
After finally refining most of the True Qi, Bi Yunfei let out a long breath and wiped the sweat from his forehead, still shaken.
But what frightened him
