Jiu Shan flew into a rage.
He jerked his head, his tangled gray-white hair dancing like furious snakes, every strand standing on end. A low, muffled growl like that of an ancient Fierce Beast rumbled in his throat. Inky black light suddenly burst from his skin, and his body shook like a sleeping volcano awakening. Every inch of muscle, every bone, every meridian unleashed the savage power accumulated over more than a decade.

With a furious roar, incomparably powerful true qi erupted from his body and slammed into Fan Dazhi, who had his arms locked around his waist.
Bang!
Fan Dazhi flew backward like a struck ball, tumbling over a hundred feet through the air before smashing through half a ruined wall and crashing to the ground.
Blood seeped from the corner of his mouth. The back of his clothes had been shredded, and the spectral tortoise shell formed by the Black Tortoise Scripture flickered dimly, on the verge of collapse.
The crossbow bolts, each as thick as a child's arm, shattered with a chorus of cracks the instant they approached Jiu Shan, as though crushed by an invisible giant hand.
Their refined-iron shafts and rune-flickering heads were as fragile as grass before that utterly tyrannical force. They broke apart with metallic clatters, scattering fragments across the ground.
"That's not a man. That's a devil..."
Someone muttered, his voice trembling uncontrollably.
Billowing black vapor poured from Jiu Shan's entire body. Thick as ink, it churned and gathered behind him, vaguely forming the phantom of a Three-Headed, Six-Armed Demon God, hideous and terrifying, looking down upon all living beings.
His eyes held only an indifferent chill that regarded everything as ants.
He raised his hand, its edge sharp as a blade, and chopped forward.
An invisible blade of qi
