In the end, Miwa Chisei brought him a cream bun, though she was rather annoyed about it.
The location Satoru Gojo had sent was near a school. After roughly an hour's drive, Miwa Chisei arrived to find him complaining that she had taken too long.
"Wouldn't running here with Judgment have been faster?"
"Satoru Gojo, cursed energy isn't something you squander like that."
"Wouldn't know. I can teleport, after all."
"...You really are annoying."
Satoru Gojo chuckled, utterly unfazed by Miwa Chisei's words. He took a bite of the bun, then spoke to her casually.
"You felt it, right? The presence hanging over this campus."
Miwa Chisei frowned. She had felt it the moment she approached. It seemed Satoru Gojo wasn't joking.
An immense, sinister presence washed over her, mixed with intense emotions she couldn't identify.
"That's a cursed spirit's presence."
"Yep. A cursed spirit has latched onto this kid."
That surprised Miwa Chisei. Cursed spirits generally preferred killing humans, so the idea of one latching onto someone felt odd.
If it were a weak cursed spirit incapable of killing a human, that would be another matter.
But a cursed spirit with a presence like this could kill humans with ease.
"Is this kid a really powerful jujutsu sorcerer?"
Satoru Gojo shook his head and answered flippantly.
"I spied on him all day. He's a super withdrawn kid. I don't think he's even aware cursed energy exists."
Miwa Chisei ignored his criminal behavior and pondered for a moment, fingers resting on her chin.
"Then we'll have to draw her out with a Curtain, but we need to make sure the child stays safe."
Satoru Gojo gave her a knowing smile.
"But I don't think that cursed spirit will hurt him. Wanna bet caramel pudding this weekend?"
Miwa Chisei said nothing.
