As the last chill of winter faded and cherry blossoms flourished in the warm sunlight, Jujutsu High welcomed a new school year.
Successful graduations, promotions, and an influx of fresh blood-Jujutsu High entered a busy season.
Satoru Gojo drew the assignment to teach this year's first-years, much to the second-years' delight.
Maki Zenin, in particular, cheered that she would finally escape the bandaged idiot's abuse. Unfortunately, she had forgotten that the lawless Satoru Gojo saw no distinction between year groups.
Megumi Fushiguro was a sensible boy who could handle his enrollment at Jujutsu High himself, but Miwa Chisei still worried and stayed by his side.
"Is Megumi the only first-year this year?"
"There's another one somewhere fairly remote. They'll probably arrive at school in about a week."
Megumi Fushiguro sorted his clothes in his dorm room. Starting today, he would officially be living in the Jujutsu High dorms.
Miwa Chisei leaned against the entryway, watching Megumi Fushiguro as she asked casually.
"Do you need anything, Megumi? You can tell me."
"Qianxing, I'll get a stipend at Jujutsu High, and missions pay bonuses too, so you don't need to worry."
Miwa Chisei had watched Megumi Fushiguro grow up, so she couldn't help fussing over him a little. Although she treated him as practice for raising children in the future, she had still poured plenty of love into both Fushiguro siblings.
Miwa Chisei wanted to say more, but a familiar presence enveloped her.
Satoru Gojo wrapped his arms around Miwa Chisei from behind, then began teasing Megumi Fushiguro without restraint.
"Megumi's all grown up, but he's still enjoying his big sister Qianxing's pampering."
Megumi Fushiguro turned with a frown, then immediately turned away again when he saw the two embracing.
"You're talking nonsense again, Gojo-sensei."
"It's my first time hearing Megumi call
