Miwa Chisei and Satoru Gojo returned to the operating room and spoke almost in unison.
"Yuji, welcome back."
Yuji Itadori showed neither confusion nor panic at their words. He simply raised a hand and flashed his usual smile.
"Hey, I'm back."
He was bright and resilient, as though no hardship could ever knock him down.
It looked like the Jujutsu Higher-Ups could keep scurrying around for a few more days. After all, they hadn't managed to break Yuji Itadori.

Satoru Gojo sounded cheerful, nothing like the man who had just been talking about killing the Jujutsu Higher-Ups.
"Seriously, you two, were you actually planning to go kill the Higher-Ups just now?"
Shoko Ieiri felt a headache coming on. These two really were in perfect sync when they went off the rails.
Miwa Chisei shook her head honestly.
"We would've caused a huge scene, then found the person responsible and killed them."
Shoko Ieiri sighed. She patted Satoru Gojo on the shoulder and spoke languidly.
