Satoru Gojo's face soured spectacularly when he saw his father's expression.
This was exactly why he never wanted to come back to the main house. His father's expression was so revolting that it made him want to punch someone.
Miwa Chisei, however, was much calmer. She did not particularly care what lay beneath Gojo Yu's expression. She merely marveled that even this old fox could manage a respectable-looking smile.
Once the two visitors had left, a thought struck Satoru Gojo, and he asked a question.
"What did the Kamo Clan come here for? Aren't they supposed to be playing house with the Zenin Clan?"
Gojo Yu was used to his son's nonsense and did not reprimand him.
"The Three Great Families still have to maintain a harmonious front."
Satoru Gojo scoffed, clearly disgusted by such behavior. He had no interest in pandering to anyone.
"The two of you coming to see me? Now that's rare."
Gojo Yu turned and entered the study, then sat back down behind his desk.
"Well, what is it?"
Clearly, neither of them was a dutiful child. Dropping by now and then just to visit their elders was out of the question.
"You know about the attack on the Star Plasma Vessel, right?"
At Satoru Gojo's words, Gojo Yu smiled faintly.
"What a coincidence. The Kamo Clan was just discussing that with me, too. The attacker was someone who left the Zenin Clan, wasn't he?"
"The Kamo Clan wants to join forces with the Gojo Clan to pressure the higher-ups into stepping up efforts to capture him."
Miwa Chisei frowned. That really was a coincidence.
Satoru Gojo, on the other hand, found it amusing.
"Seriously? Those two clans act so close, but they won't pass up even the slightest chance to weaken each other."
