Chapter Summaries

Lin Guang secured his place in the Akatsuki and sent word to Jiraiya that he would join him soon. While searching for Tsunade with Naruto, Jiraiya encountered her at an izakaya and asked her to become the Fifth Hokage, but Naruto angrily reacted to her dismissal of the Hokage.

• Pain ordered the Akatsuki to locate the Tailed Beasts, and Konan gave each member except herself and Pain two million ryo.
• Lin Guang summoned the Gourd Toad and asked it to tell Jiraiya that he had established himself in the Akatsuki and would come find him.
