Chapter Summaries

Mitsuri Kanroji used Wood Release to restrain the Ten-Tails while Lin Guang separated Madara Uchiha from it and drew him away from the battle. Madara guessed that Lin Guang was an Ōtsutsuki seeking the God Tree, and Lin Guang waited for the next stage of events to unfold.

• Mitsuri Kanroji summoned pink, cherry-blossom-covered Gates of the Great God to pin down the Ten-Tails.
• Naruto threw Kakashi toward Obito Uchiha, who took Kakashi into his Kamui Dimension.
• Lin Guang used the Space Stone to separate Madara Uchiha from the Ten-Tails and brought him outside the Four Red Yang Formation.
• Madara Uchiha questioned Lin Guang about his identity, and Lin Guang said the Uchiha Clan's stone tablet recorded only part of the Ōtsutsuki Clan's history.
• Madara Uchiha guessed that Lin Guang was a high-ranking Ōtsutsuki descendant seeking the God Tree, and Lin Guang let him believe it.
• Lin Guang said the waiting had not been in vain as the next event began to arrive.

The First through Fourth Hokage arrived to help the Shinobi Allied Forces contain the Ten-Tails, while Hashirama Senju went to fight Madara Uchiha. After Sasuke Uchiha joined Naruto Uzumaki, Lin Guang told Uchiha Itachi that he wanted to meet the Sage of Six Paths.

• Minato Namikaze, Hiruzen Sarutobi, Tobirama Senju, and Hashirama Senju arrived, and Lin Guang explained how the current Kage had trapped the Ten-Tails and treated the wounded.
• Madara Uchiha challenged Hashirama Senju, and Hashirama agreed to fight him away from the main battle.
• Tobirama Senju asked Lin Guang how they could defeat the Ten-Tails, and Lin Guang said Naruto Uzumaki planned to use the other tailed beasts' chakra to separate them from it.
• Uchiha Itachi arrived with Sasuke Uchiha, who headed toward Naruto Uzumaki without speaking.

Lin Guang recovered while Uchiha Itachi joined the battle, then used the system to open hundreds of wooden treasure chests and gained the King of the Elements ability. As he surveyed the battlefield, Lin Guang sensed a peculiar presence and realized the Sheep Talisman was involved.

• Lin Guang told Uchiha Itachi that he wanted to meet the Sage of Six Paths, then sat down to recover while Itachi entered the battlefield.
• Lin Guang opened 309 Battlefield Wooden Treasure Chests and gained lightning, fire, and earth affinities, which combined into the King of the Elements ability.
• Lin Guang sensed that his new ability let him perceive the battlefield and the natural energy surrounding the Ten-Tails.

Lin Guang met Hagoromo Otsutsuki and learned why the Sage had remained behind to help seal Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Lin Guang sought to seal Kaguya rather than fight her, and Hagoromo began passing on the knowledge and power he needed to use Six Paths: Chibaku Tensei.

• Lin Guang used the Sheep Talisman to leave his body and meet Hagoromo Otsutsuki in a white expanse.
• Hagoromo recognized Lin Guang’s extraordinary chakra and natural abilities, while Lin Guang asked whether the Sage had foreseen Kaguya Ōtsutsuki’s revival.
• Hagoromo revealed that he foresaw Asura and Indra’s reincarnations joining forces to stop Kaguya and had stayed behind to give them power.
• Lin Guang told Hagoromo he wanted to seal Kaguya and asked how to perform Six Paths: Chibaku Tensei.

• Hagoromo Otsutsuki gave Lin Guang the Rinnegan, insights into yin-yang power, and the sealing formula for Six Paths: Chibaku Tensei.
• Lin Guang saw that Obito Uchiha had become the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki and that the God Tree had devastated the Shinobi Allied Forces.

He then entered the Kamui Dimension to destroy Obito Uchiha’s Rinnegan, but Madara arrived and reclaimed it, leaving Lin Guang trapped with him.

• Lin Guang rescued Yamato, left White Zetsu with Uchiha Itachi, and rushed to the battlefield where Might Guy opened the Gate of Death against Six Paths Madara.
• Might Guy struck Madara Uchiha with Evening Elephant and Night Guy, but Madara regenerated; Lin Guang knocked away Madara’s Truth-Seeking Orb and healed Guy, while Naruto Uzumaki used Yang Power to keep him alive.

• Madara Uchiha emerged with Black Zetsu controlling Obito Uchiha and a complete pair of Rinnegan.

Madara Uchiha activated the Infinite Tsukuyomi, trapping nearly everyone in the world while Sasuke Uchiha protected Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura, and their companions. As Madara confronted the survivors, Black Zetsu betrayed him by piercing his heart.

• Lin Guang joined the fight against the meteors with his complete-body Susanoo while Madara Uchiha approached the moon and awakened the Eye of the Moon.
• Madara Uchiha cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi, and its light ensnared people and animals across the world; he then used Divine: Deep Forest Emergence to wrap them in trees.

• Black Zetsu told Madara Uchiha that he was Kaguya Ōtsutsuki’s will, not Madara’s creation, and revealed that Madara had been living in a dream Black Zetsu had designed.

Lin Guang pursued Kaguya Ōtsutsuki through her dimensions after Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha interrupted their conversation. In the Expansive Truth-Seeking Ball Dimension, Kaguya accidentally revealed that she had four and a half dimensions like the world of ice and snow.

• Lin Guang asked Kaguya Ōtsutsuki to tell him her story, but Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha arrived through a Kamui passage before she could begin.
• Kaguya Ōtsutsuki used Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack to break through Lin Guang’s ice beasts, then opened Yomotsu Hirasaka and fled as Lin Guang followed her inside.

• Lin Guang deduced that the Ōtsutsuki Clan planted the God Tree for its fruit and that Kaguya had prepared to face Momoshiki and Kinshiki.
• Kaguya Ōtsutsuki explained that the clan planted God Trees to steal chakra from planets and that she had killed her assigned companion before reaching Earth.

Kaguya Ōtsutsuki explained her past to Hagoromo Otsutsuki and chose to trust humanity, then released the Infinite Tsukuyomi and began separating the tailed beasts and God Tree from herself. Lin Guang helped her through the extraction as the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path went berserk.

• Lin Guang told Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha that he had persuaded Kaguya Ōtsutsuki to reconsider her plans during their fight.
• Kaguya Ōtsutsuki told Hagoromo Otsutsuki about the Ōtsutsuki Clan, her companion, and humanity's betrayal, explaining why she had wanted to turn people into White Zetsu.

Lin Guang entered the Date A Live world as Itsuka Lin Guang, the adult older brother of Shido Itsuka and Kotori Itsuka, with his powers intact. He settled into family life with them while learning that Spacequakes still threatened Tengu City.
