Chapter Summaries

Lin Guang extracted five abilities from his powers and arranged a trip to Oshima, where he brought Shinobu Kocho, Tamayo, Mitsuri Kanroji, Rose, and Lin Mei together. He gave three of the women ability cards to prepare them for the dangers of his world.

• Lin Guang extracted Darkness Aura, his poison-type superpower, healing superpower, Blood Control Technique, and Food Chain into cards, intending to give Darkness Aura to Rose.
• The next morning, Lin Guang and Inori Yuzuriha ate eggs Benedict before he told her he was going to Oshima to make arrangements.
• Lin Guang traveled to Oshima with Jinichiro, had a Kuhouin Family villa cleaned, and checked it for listening devices and hidden cameras.
• Lin Guang opened a wooden door and brought five women into the villa, where Shinobu Kocho, Tamayo, and Mitsuri Kanroji discussed the dangers of his world.

• Souta Tamadate told Lin Guang he planned to pursue Inori Yuzuriha, so Lin Guang extracted Souta’s Void, revealing it was a camera, and Gai Tsutsugami knocked Souta unconscious.
• Funeral Parlor proceeded with its plan, and Lin Guang used Souta’s Void to open the Secret Base’s entrance.
• A man in white clerical robes shot a guard, used a card that confirmed Kurosu Ouma’s security identity, and entered the Secret Base, triggering an alarm.
• Lin Guang and Funeral Parlor rushed through the closing doors as Inori Yuzuriha shot and knocked down a guard who tried to ambush them.

Lin Guang and Gai Tsutsugami found the Origin Stone missing, and Shūichirō Keidō was identified as the thief. Keidō was captured after agreeing with Shuukai to restart Lost Christmas, while Lin Guang chose not to interfere and awaited a chance to meet Divine Consciousness; three transfer students then arrived at Tennōzu First High School.

• Gai Tsutsugami found the Origin Stone’s display stand empty, realized Shūichirō Keidō had taken it, and ordered the group to retreat.
• Lin Guang concealed what had happened to Souta Tamadate, who woke with a sore head and no memory of their conversation.

• Lin Guang told Haruka Ouma that Shu Ouma had obtained the King's Sigil, and she agreed to help confront the source of the danger.
• Lin Guang and Gai Tsutsugami led Funeral Parlor in infiltrating Tokyo Tower while its members held off GHQ's Antibodies troops outside.

While Inori Yuzuriha’s singing purified the Apocalypse Virus, Divine Consciousness appeared and seized her after Kanae Kocho wounded him. He opened a Void Gate to escape with Inori, but Lin Guang touched the gate as they entered.

• Rose and Lin Mei attacked GHQ’s perimeter, destroying troops and Endlave robots while Inori Yuzuriha sang at Tokyo Tower.
• A Void Gate appeared behind Inori, and Divine Consciousness stepped through it.
• Lin Guang pulled Inori into his arms, and Kanae Kocho attacked Divine Consciousness with Flower Breathing, cutting his face and clothes.
• Divine Consciousness seized Inori, drew out her Void, and trapped Lin Guang in his domain while asking him to become Adam.

Lin Guang entered the Void Gate, discovered Divine Consciousness Gravekeeper’s plan to use Inori Yuzuriha to awaken Mana, and followed him to the ritual in a dark chapel. He freed Shu Ouma from the Gravekeeper’s crystals, but the Gravekeeper unleashed a stronger crystal attack just as Gai Tsutsugami and Ayase arrived.

• Lin Guang found Shu Ouma unconscious in the Void Gate and woke him with Mental Control before continuing to find Inori Yuzuriha.
• Lin Guang reached a dark chapel where Shūichirō Keidō held Inori for a ritual to resurrect Mana, and Shu Ouma arrived shortly afterward.
• Divine Consciousness Gravekeeper restrained Lin Guang and Shu Ouma with dark purple crystals while Shūichirō Keidō began the ritual.
• Lin Guang used elementalization to withstand the Gravekeeper’s crystal blades, then used the King's Sigil to absorb the crystals and free Shu Ouma.
• Divine Consciousness Gravekeeper surrounded Lin Guang and Shu Ouma with a larger mass of crystals, as Gai Tsutsugami and Ayase arrived in the Steiner.

Lin Guang, Shu Ouma, Gai Tsutsugami, and Ayase Shinomiya tried to stop Shūichirō Keidō and Divine Consciousness, the Gravekeeper, from completing the Spiral Covenant with Inori Yuzuriha. After Gai helped Shu remember the truth about Lost Christmas, Lin Guang unleashed Ice Age and knocked Shu unconscious as the ceremony continued.

• Ayase Shinomiya and Gai Tsutsugami arrived in the Steiner, freed Lin Guang and Shu Ouma from the crystals, and joined them against Shūichirō Keidō.
• Gai Tsutsugami fired at Shūichirō Keidō while Ayase Shinomiya attacked with the Steiner, but the Gravekeeper's crystals blocked them and damaged the machine.

Gai Tsutsugami sacrificed himself to destroy Mana Ouma and end Shūichirō Keidō's ritual, leaving Lin Guang and the others to face their loss. Shu Ouma broke down after learning Gai and Mana were gone, while Lin Guang left with Inori Yuzuriha and urged him to become stronger.

• The Divine Consciousness Gravekeeper stopped Shūichirō Keidō from attacking, then left through a Void Gate after Lin Guang confronted him.
• Gai Tsutsugami reached Mana Ouma's crystal cage but was impaled by tentacles, and Shūichirō Keidō retreated into the darkness.

Lin Guang bonded with Hyōrinmaru, gathered vaccines and weapons during Tokyo’s lockdown, and learned that Funeral Parlor had scattered after Gai Tsutsugami’s death. The chapter ended with Ayase Shinomiya falling from her wheelchair as two upperclassmen approached.
