Though he was not sure whether he was right to think that way, the reality Chiba Yo understood was exactly that.

Before Chiba Yo could give it any more thought, Kagaya spoke again.
Tamayo, Yushiro, and Chiba Yo all sat down. Kagaya had invited Chiba Yo to take part in the discussion as well.
Kagaya continued, "Muzan is hiding and refusing to come out. We have no way of knowing his whereabouts, let alone killing him.
"I have a plan. Muzan has always wanted to eliminate our family for opposing him. If we let him learn where I live, he should come to kill me. When he does, I will severely injure him with special explosives. Then Miss Tamayo can seize the opportunity to weaken him with the medicine she has developed. The Kasugai Crow I have stationed will notify the children, and together, we will kill Muzan."
Kagaya laid out his plan. Chiba Yo had not yet grasped his meaning and nodded thoughtfully. "That sounds like a good plan. We can move you somewhere else beforehand, Master, and plant explosives throughout the estate. As soon as Muzan appears, we detonate them."
Neither Kagaya nor Chiba Yo understood Muzan all that well, and they thought this would be enough to draw him out.
"Yo, you have misunderstood me. Muzan will never show himself unless he sees me. I do not have much time left. There is no need to move me away, nor can we afford to do so.
"Born with a frail body, I have never truly fought on the front lines against demons as you have. In these final moments, let me do my part to destroy Muzan."
Once Chiba Yo finished speaking, Kagaya explained what he meant.
Only then did Chiba Yo understand.
