"Chirp! Chirp!"
After hearing Chiba Yo's words, Chuntaro fluttered its wings and nodded its little head.
"Yo, what did you say to Chuntaro?" Zenitsu asked curiously at the sight.
"It won't work if I tell you."
Chiba Yo deliberately acted mysterious.
Then he added, "Don't worry. From now on, you definitely won't find anything strange happening when you wake up."
From now on, Chuntaro would definitely be the first thing he saw when he woke up.
Chuntaro also turned toward Zenitsu and chirped twice, as though agreeing with Chiba Yo.
For some reason, looking at Chuntaro, Zenitsu kept feeling that there was a vicious glint in its eyes. A sudden chill crept through him.
"O-okay." Zenitsu swallowed and answered dubiously.
Just then, a Kasugai Crow landed by the window.
"Caw! Caw!"
"Aaah!!!"
The sudden noise startled Zenitsu. If not for his injured legs, he probably would have jumped up on the bed.
"Caaaw!!!"
Then Zenitsu's reaction startled the Kasugai Crow in turn, and it flapped its wings and toppled over.
Fortunately, Chiba Yo caught it with his quick reflexes. He also realized that it was his own Kasugai Crow.
"Another mission?"
Chiba Yo dropped his relaxed attitude and grew serious.
He also found it strange that another mission had come so soon.
After resting for a moment, the Kasugai Crow regained its energy. It stood up in Chiba Yo's hands, flapped its wings, and called out to him:
"North-northeast! North-northeast! North-northwest! North-northwest! Demons sighted in two locations! Chiba Yo, hurry and eliminate them! Caw! Caw!"
Two locations at once, and so far apart?
Chiba Yo found it even stranger. Before this, he had barely received any news of demons, yet now there were two in a row.
"Goodbye, Zenitsu. I'm off on a mission. I hope you all recover soon."
