Hearing that someone knew medicine, the onlookers hurriedly cleared a path.
Just as Gu Zheng gritted his teeth and prepared to carry the young woman on his back, he turned and saw Song Ning.
Before he could even feel surprised, relief washed over him.
"Do you need help here?" Song Ning asked.
"Yes!" Gu Zheng pointed at Fang Fang. "This young woman suddenly developed a terrible stomachache! Could you take a look?"
Song Ning went over to take the young woman's pulse first.
But the young woman had one hand pressed tightly against her abdomen and the other curled up, seemingly in agony.
Sun Jiahui hurriedly said, "We should take her to the hospital first! This young lady is so young, she probably can't handle an emergency like this. We mustn't delay treatment! Gu Zheng! Please give us a hand!"
Song Ning glanced at Gu Zheng. Though she did not know the whole story, she had roughly guessed what was going on.
She nodded. "True! Taking her to the hospital would be safer! Since it's awkward for a man to carry her, I'll do it!"
As she spoke, she helped Fang Fang up. "Miss! Can you stand?"
Fang Fang curled up in pain, seemingly unable to stand at all.
Song Ning simply bent down and swept Fang Fang up into a bridal carry.
Fang Fang was short and delicately built, so carrying her did not take Song Ning much effort.
The onlookers let out a small chorus of startled exclamations.
"Make way! Quickly, make way!" Gu Zheng hurriedly cleared a path.
Song Ning carried Fang Fang briskly to the entrance. The Jeep was already waiting at the foot of the steps, and Wei Jinjun had opened the rear door.
Song Ning bundled her inside. "There! Get her to the hospital!
