"Tan Min?"
President Peng sighed. "She... she always performed well before! Ah... wait a moment! Let me ask!"
With that, he made a phone call.
Ten minutes later, a doctor came in carrying a kraft-paper document envelope.
"President Peng! These are all the projects Comrade Tan Min participated in! But these are the original archived records, so we can't really lend them out!"
President Peng glanced at Song Ning, who said, "I can just read them here!"
The envelope contained records of four projects Tan Min had participated in.
Judging by the dates, the first two projects had taken place roughly a year ago, and her name appeared at the very bottom of the project lists.
Usually, that meant she had only done basic, nontechnical work such as organizing and transcribing documents.
The latter two projects, however, were from the past six months.
Her name actually appeared first on both.
That meant she had been the principal person in charge.
Song Ning flipped further through the files. Both projects had been completed and had produced results.
Although neither project was particularly complex, they were already quite groundbreaking for someone Tan Min's age.
Song Ning took a pen and paper and copied down the project names.
She put the documents back in order and returned the envelope.
"Thank you! I'm finished!"
Then she asked, "How important are research achievements at our hospital?"
"Very important! How should I put it? Our Military District General Hospital ranks among the best in the country in terms of medical expertise! Research is a vital foundation for the hospital's development! We're allocating more and more funding to research now, too! We don't want to fall behind in that area!"
"Let me be more specific. Are research achievements important to a young doctor like Tan Min?"
"Absolutely!
