Flender showed Qin Chao and the others a hidden training complex built inside an abandoned iron mine beneath a rented mountain. He introduced its physical training course and challenged Qin Chao’s companions to try it, while Qin Chao agreed to take a look.

• Liu Erlong told Qin Chao that the academy had been overhauled, but the tour of its buildings left Dugu Bo, Xie Yue, and the others disappointed.
• Flender led the group through a concealed gate and used a camouflage Soul Tool to reveal a path to a nearby mountain he had rented for Shrek Academy.
• Flender explained that he had converted the mountain’s abandoned iron mine into a hidden training ground with three areas: mimicry, combat, and physical training.
• Flender brought the group to a rough obstacle course and explained that trainees had to complete its mapped route before an incense stick burned out.
• Qin Chao accepted Flender’s challenge to try the physical training course, and Flender privately hoped it would impress Dugu Bo.

The Golden Generation began Flender’s Mine Pit training course and used their Soul Skills and teamwork to race through its obstacles. They cleared the first two stages with ease, leaving Flender dismayed as his Giant Log Formation failed to slow them down.
