"My name is Bai Ye. I'm from Z City, and my hobby is studying monsters. I'm also friends with Boros."
Bai Ye finished his introduction with just a few words.
"My name is Boros. I'm from another planet, and my hobby is fighting. I'm friends with Bai Ye."
Boros copied Bai Ye's introduction template outright.
Then he wrote his name on the blackboard-Boros.
As for why Boros could write Japanese...
Don't ask. The answer was that everyone in the world spoke Japanese.
"All right, there happen to be two empty seats left in the classroom. Bai Ye, Boros, you can decide between yourselves where to sit."
The subject teacher spoke to Bai Ye and Boros.
Class was about to begin, too.
The two empty seats were not only one behind the other, but also by the windows at the back.
Seeing this, Bai Ye immediately thought, How has nobody claimed such great seats?
As the saying went, the back row by the window was where kings belonged.
Bai Ye casually chose the seat in front, in the second-to-last row, while Boros sat in the very last row.
Riiing-
Just then, the bell rang right on cue.
Bai Ye began listening attentively. It was a math lesson, and math was his best subject.
When the bell rang at the end of class, the teacher finished on time.
Most of the students stayed in their seats to review their notes. This was the Special Advancement Class, after all, essentially the same as an "experimental class."
Japan also divided students into higher- and lower-performing classes; they just used different names.
But even in the Special Advancement Class, much of it still depended on the students' self-discipline.
The school didn't require extra lessons, but almost everyone went straight to cram school after classes
