Beneath No Man's Land in Z City, at the Monster Association.
"Lord Gyoro Gyoro, why did you summon me?"
A monster entered Gyoro Gyoro's room.
"A meteor will strike Z City in half an hour. The Hero Association is currently short on personnel, so they'll probably send a few heroes to Z City to stop it. This is our chance to wipe out the humans in Z City. We can't let such a golden opportunity slip away."
Controlling Gyoro Gyoro, Psykos issued her orders. "Tell Elder Centipede to prepare. He alone will suffice, but make sure he doesn't get carried away fighting. All he needs to do is obstruct the heroes trying to stop the meteor."
"Yes!"
The monster immediately withdrew to notify Elder Centipede.
Thirty minutes before the meteor struck Z City, people could already see a strange point of light in the sky.
"Mommy, a star!"
A little girl looked up and pointed at the sky.
Her mother, standing beside her, was puzzled. Why could she see such a large star in broad daylight?
As the minutes and seconds ticked by, the "star" in the sky kept growing larger.
"Emergency evacuation alert! Disaster level: Dragon-level! A massive meteor will strike in twenty-one minutes! According to expert analysis, even conservative estimates predict the destruction of all of Z City. Please leave Z City as quickly as possible!"
This time, the broadcast didn't even tell people to head to Z City's shelters. Even those shelters, built at enormous expense, weren't guaranteed to withstand the effects of the meteor's impact.
People had already begun fleeing Z City, but the streets were packed with people and vehicles, leaving everything hopelessly gridlocked.
There wasn't enough time to escape Z City on foot, but the cars were trapped in traffic. Most people also
