Yi Chen did not take the matter of the Demon Dragon Hall to heart. After all, as long as they did not touch his dragon's reverse scale, their threats meant nothing to him. Besides, the Demon Dragon Hall was merely an organization.
As for the so-called master that young married woman had mentioned, Yi Chen was even less concerned. Though the Demon Dragon Hall was vast, its strength was quite ordinary.
With that thought, he continued toward the Demon Dragon Hall.
Along the way, he occasionally encountered ordinary people hurrying past with haggard faces, some even wearing tattered clothes and looking utterly dispirited.
Yi Chen observed them carefully for a while and discovered that most were vicious bandits or convicts who had been thrown into prison.
Every one of them exuded a thick aura of slaughter. Along the way, he also encountered many masked men in black robes with formidable martial skills. These were soldiers from various nations, carrying an air of bloodlust and carnage.
"They certainly live up to their reputation as the cruelest race..." Yi Chen muttered.
He saw some children sitting blankly by the roadside, their faces bewildered. Their legs dangled limply over the road, and their eyes were empty, as though their souls had already vanished.
Yi Chen frowned. A sudden surge of anger rushed to his head, and he growled, "Demon Dragon Hall!"
A ball of blue flame flew from his palm and blasted the small grove beside the road to pieces with a thunderous boom.
Countless leaves scattered through the air. A man in a black robe leaped out of the undergrowth, holding a sword as he stared at Yi Chen, savage killing intent flashing in his eyes.
"The Demon Dragon Hall's lackeys really are formidable... No wonder they can rule the entire world."
