A hoarse voice slowly rang out. "Sir, why did you attack us?"
Yi Chen laughed. "You know me?"
A shadowy figure said sinisterly, "We belong to Blood Wolf. On our leader's orders, we have been waiting here for you."
Yi Chen frowned. "I did run into an enemy ambush tonight, but I don't want to get tangled up with you now. Who are you, and why are you attacking me?" His expression turned serious.
The man in black smiled. "Naturally, we want the head on your shoulders!"
Before his words had faded, one of them suddenly waved his hand and released seventeen venomous snakes of various colors, each roughly the size of a thumb. Countless mung-bean-sized eyeballs rolled wildly within their gleaming green eyes, and a foul stench spread on the wind.
Yi Chen sighed softly. "So you really are from the Demon Dragon Hall, using such vicious means to ambush me... Very well. Today, I'll slaughter every last one of you."
Yi Chen flicked his palm, and a ball of black flame the size of a basketball appeared in his hand. With a tremendous boom, it turned into an enormous mushroom cloud that rose slowly into the air. Powerful waves of energy swept through the surroundings, instantly reducing countless towering trees to ash.
Yi Chen snorted coldly, and his body abruptly split into three. His true body stood on the left and a phantom on the right. Both charged toward the men in black at once. Yi Chen chopped at the shadow directly ahead with a knife-hand strike, while another heavy elbow slammed toward the neck of the phantom beside him.
The phantom swept a clawed hand back toward his true body's ribs.
