Their fist and palm collided once again. A terrifying force spread outward, shattering the ground around them. Massive cracks snaked in every direction, and the entire valley was razed flat.

Both were driven back again, the gray-robed elder hurled another hundred feet away.
The gray-robed elder's expression turned utterly grim.
He had thought he could easily dispose of Yi Chen. He had never expected Yi Chen's strength to far exceed his expectations.
He ignored Yi Chen and swept his gaze toward the enormous black egg nearby.
The enormous black egg exuded dense black mist. Through its shroud, a humanoid figure could vaguely be seen churning up a storm inside, struggling endlessly, as though resisting something.
"What exactly is this thing? Why does it carry a human presence?" The gray-robed elder's expression shifted uncertainly. More and more questions piled up in his mind. He even felt that the humanoid thing was a living creature devouring his soul.
He gritted his teeth and said, "Damn brat, just you wait!"
He turned and darted toward the enormous black egg, intending to vent his anger on it first, then slowly torment Yi Chen.
Just after the gray-robed elder darted into the black egg, Yi Chen suddenly felt a terrifying force erupt from it. An overwhelming power descended upon him, enveloping him completely.
"What's going on?" Yi Chen was startled. He desperately circulated his energy to resist the force, but it was completely useless.
That force seemed limitless, holding him fast inside the black egg. No matter how hard he struggled, it kept him firmly bound, leaving him unable to escape its confinement.
"What's happening?" Yi Chen's expression darkened. He felt a terrifying sense of danger envelop his entire body.
