Background / History
Initial confrontation
Situ Wuya appeared beside Situ Tianhai and two elders during the Situ Family’s confrontation with Yi Chen. After Yi Chen struck Tianhai down, Wuya attacked in anger over his son’s injuries. Yi Chen shattered his kneecap with a kick and sent him flying several thousand meters into a wall. Despite the defeat, Wuya threatened him with the arrival of stronger family experts 211 212.
Yi Chen’s golden dragon phantoms frightened Wuya into recognizing that his opponent could kill him. When questioned about Situ Wufeng, Wuya initially refused to reveal his elder brother’s whereabouts and activated his origin core to resist. He soon begged for mercy and disclosed information about Wufeng and the family, including its collusion with the Demon Race. He refused to explain the alliance’s origins or the capture of the family’s three God Kings, directing Yi Chen to the elders instead 213.
Submission and betrayal
Under further interrogation, Wuya identified Situ Wuyue as the family’s hidden controlling figure. He claimed that Wuyue intended to groom him as the next patriarch, then blamed Wuyue for engineering the family’s crisis to consolidate power. Yi Chen demanded that he hand Wuyue over and threatened eternal soul imprisonment in the Soul Refining Tower if he betrayed him. Wuya knelt, kowtowed, and was allowed to leave 214.
Wuya nevertheless planned to exploit Yi Chen’s actions against the family, waiting until its members had been captured before making his own move. His stated goal was to kill Yi Chen and take the Situ Family for himself. He later gathered relatives, disciples, and elders outside his residence, claiming that Yi Chen had informed the Sacred Martial Academy and that an envoy had been dispatched. Yi Chen recognized the gathering as an attempt to force him into the open and ordered an attack 215.
Final battles and the godhood secret
Wuya challenged Yi Chen again but was knocked down by a vital-energy strike. After sensing Yi Chen’s overwhelming aura, he requested three years to strengthen himself before a rematch. He ordered the family’s experts to stand down and promised to lead them against Yi Chen at the appointed time 216.
Their confrontation continued without that delay. Wuya’s punch failed to injure Yi Chen, and he conceded that Yi Chen’s strength and flames exceeded his own. Even so, he refused the demand to kneel and apologize, then attacked with a crimson saber, fists, and a large-scale flame assault. None overcame Yi Chen’s defenses 217 218.
Below the cliff, Wuya summoned a pitch-black stone orb that enlarged to resemble a star, but it struck his own forehead. Yi Chen then knocked him down and crushed his skull. Wuya threatened family revenge, only to hear that Yi Chen had already crippled the family’s cultivators 218.
The following chapter depicts Wuya alive and under interrogation. He claimed to have contacted the family elders and tried to bargain with the family’s secret. After Yi Chen wounded his left shoulder and severed his right arm, Wuya revealed that the Situ Family possessed a godhood. A month later, Yi Chen exterminated the family and looted its treasury 219.
Personality
Wuya is proud, volatile, and protective of his family’s standing. His first attack follows Tianhai’s injury, while later confrontations repeatedly provoke him through humiliation and challenges to his authority. Even after admitting Yi Chen’s superiority, he refuses to kowtow as the family’s new sect master 212 216 217.
His defiance gives way to self-preservation when death becomes imminent. He begs for mercy, discloses family secrets, and offers loyalty, but subsequently plots to kill Yi Chen and seize control of the family. His surrender does not amount to lasting allegiance 213 214 215 219.

Relationships
- Situ Tianhai — His son; Tianhai’s injury triggers Wuya’s first direct attack on Yi Chen 211 212.
- Situ Wufeng — His elder brother. Wuya initially refuses to disclose his whereabouts before yielding under threat of death 213.

Portrayal Inconsistencies
- Rank: Wuya is explicitly a late-stage God King, but a later passage confusingly describes the interrogated figure as Wuya’s father and a peak God Emperor. No clear advancement connects these descriptions 212 213.
- Position: He is called family head and new sect master, yet later calls himself the family’s future heir 215 216 217 219.
- Death: His skull is crushed in one chapter, while the next continues with him alive, speaking, and being tortured. No explanation for his survival is supplied 218 219.
