Yun Xiaoran looked utterly incredulous when he heard Shen Jin say that. He knew just how much weight those words carried.
There had even been a hint of pleading in her voice.
Yun Xiaoran quietly glanced at Shen Jin out of the corner of his eye. She still had her arms wrapped tightly around him from behind, while her little hands restlessly roamed over his thighs.

Yun Xiaoran's expression darkened. If she kept that up, she was going to get him worked up.
He clamped both of her little hands firmly in his large ones.
Still, after talking with Shen Jin, Yun Xiaoran could tell that she might be serious this time. She really did seem determined to change.
"But there's something else I want to ask you. Why did you bring me along on this trip to Korea?"

Even if she hadn't brought him, the outcome wouldn't really have changed. Granted, he still felt somewhat upset that Shen Jin had lied to him.
