They had taken a shower.
Both Shen Jin and Yun Xiaoran were feeling much better now.
But since this was the first time something like this had happened, Shen Jin was still terribly shy. After their shower, she nestled motionlessly in Yun Xiaoran's arms.
So... so embarrassing. This was the first time something like this had happened. For someone like me, it really was mortifying.
"That's never happened to me before. I don't know what got into me this time," Shen Jin told him in a barely audible voice, not even daring to look at him.
"It's fine. Everyone probably has a few embarrassing moments like that."
Yun Xiaoran firmly pressed a kiss to her lips and said, "I just hope you won't leave me when I have an embarrassing moment. That's all I ask."
Hearing this, Shen Jin solemnly promised him:
"Don't worry. If something embarrassing happens to you, I absolutely won't think any less of you."
After saying this, Shen Jin finally dared to raise her head and look at Yun Xiaoran. He chuckled, finding her expression both funny and adorable.
Still, Yun Xiaoran said, "Yes, yes, my wife is the best. She'd never think any less of me..."
Hearing this, Shen Jin happily tightened her arms around him.
Yet beneath his happiness, Yun Xiaoran was inwardly frowning.
He was still worried about the Yun Bai situation. Clearly, that alias would be exposed sooner or later. But when the time came, how exactly should he reveal it?
