At Shen Jin's prompting, Yun Xiaoran cleared his throat and began typing a message:
"What's up? I'm in this city right now. I just woke up."
Shen Jin stared at the "What's up?" Yun Xiaoran had typed.
"Why were you afraid to message her just now? Feeling guilty, perhaps?"
"A little, of course. After all, she's the person I used to be paired with online. Wouldn't you get jealous?"
"You!"
Shen Jin bit her lip lightly, then looked at Yun Xiaoran and said:
"I would never get jealous over you!"
"Hmph!"
With that, Shen Jin turned her head away.
She stopped looking at Yun Xiaoran and began walking at a furious pace.
How did things end up like this again?
Yun Xiaoran caught up to her and asked, "What's wrong? Why are you jealous again? Didn't you just say you wouldn't get jealous?"
"I..."
Shen Jin puffed up her cheeks and glared at Yun Xiaoran with wide eyes.
Her lips looked adorable, too.
Rather than wait for Yun Xiaoran, Shen Jin kept walking.
Yun Xiaoran stepped forward and gently wrapped his arms around Shen Jin. "Let go of me! Let go!"
Thank goodness she was wearing a baseball cap and a mask. Otherwise, how would she have dared to mess around like this?
The passersby watched Yun Xiaoran and Shen Jin's battle with great interest, as though they were watching a world war they had seen before.
"All right, all right. I'm only going over to have a meal with a friend. Is that okay, honey?"
Shen Jin wasn't being entirely unreasonable. After another round of grumbling and jealousy,
she still looked at Yun Xiaoran with obvious displeasure.
Although it was only a meal, all she wanted was for Yun Xiaoran to do nothing and stay by her side.
