Shen Jin had stayed up until three in the morning the night before and only barely managed to drift off in a daze. She had also set an alarm for seven so she could get up before Yun Xiaoran and cook.
So, after four or five hours of fitful sleep, Shen Jin got up and started cooking.
After Yun Xiaoran got up and opened his door, he groggily heard clattering coming from the kitchen.

Who could be in the kitchen? If it was Shen Jin... but his icy wife wouldn't get up this early.

Her spatula was still moving around the skillet, and the eggs sizzled in the oil. Dressed in lightweight pajamas, Shen Jin felt a little awkward under Yun Xiaoran's gaze.
Yun Xiaoran looked at Shen Jin.
"Why are you cooking too? Do you not like the food I make for you?"
"No." Shen Jin hadn't expected Yun Xiaoran to think that, so she made up an excuse on the spot.
"The company requires us to know how to cook for our artists, so I'm getting back into practice."
