Grotesque stared at Order, who had hunted it for a million years, crossing countless planes in an effort to devour it, and seethed with rage. A hundred years had already passed within the Paths, yet even with all its strength, it could not devour the weakened Order.
"I never imagined that you, who were born alongside me, would choose to coexist with a lowly insect." Grotesque seemed so furious that even the auroras filling the sky above the Paths were scattered.
"The host I chose is the very one you originally selected. He will kill you." Order's voice was calm and flat, like a machine devoid of emotion.
"Even you are no match for me. Do you think the human you inhabit could be?" Grotesque's tone was far more emotional than Order's, its mood swings unmistakable.
"We were originally one. Death at my hands is your destiny. Once I merge you into myself, all the chaos wherever you have passed will return to order." Order's tone remained flat and mechanical.
"I have absorbed most of this world's Law Power, while you, pitiful thing, have lost every last trace of your Law Power over the past hundred thousand years. Order, annihilation is your destiny, not mine."
"As long as war and hatred never cease in this world, I will be eternal." Grotesque's voice resonated with the world, like an echo of the heavenly order.
Order suddenly realized that Grotesque had abandoned all its cosmic energy and merged itself completely into this world. Every war, every instance of chaos, death, and hatred, every negative emotion in the world was supplying it with an endless stream of energy.
"You actually abandoned your existence as a higher-dimensional life-form and chose to merge with this world." For once, Order's voice fluctuated.
