Hermann waved a hand and walked out, holding Philia's hand.
"Aunt Lisa, I'll bring you something to eat later!" Philia hurriedly called over her shoulder.
Lisa smiled and waved. "As long as you get enough to eat."
Lisa turned around and wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes. "Poor child. Such a hard life..."
"Brother, what are you doing?" Joyce frowned at Hermann, who was holding Philia's hand.
"Ah, hahaha, this child's hungry. I'm taking her to the storeroom to get something to eat." Hermann gave an innocent smile.
"Is that so? Then you'd better be careful, brother. The storeroom is close to the entrance. We wouldn't want any accidents." Joyce's voice dripped with insinuation.
He saw right through his eldest brother's plan to throw Philia outside and ruin their second brother Edison's business. But this could only benefit him. His eldest brother was no longer a threat, and if this eliminated Edison as well, why wouldn't he welcome it?
"With Father's Titan blood barrier, what could possibly go wrong?" Hermann walked up beside Joyce, a sinister glint flashing through his eyes.
As they passed through the living room, Winston looked up from his newspaper and asked, "Hermann, where are you taking Philia?"
"Father, the child is hungry. I'm taking her to get some snacks," Hermann hurriedly replied, lowering his head.
"Catch, Philia." Winston tossed her two pieces of chocolate.
Philia reached out and caught them. "Thank you, Grandpa Winston."
Winston nodded at that, a kindly smile appearing on his face. A little girl as adorable as Philia was quite likable, provided there were no conflicting interests.
"Treat the child well. Don't neglect her," Winston instructed, crossing his legs and raising his newspaper.
Hermann acknowledged him and led Philia away, the hatred in his heart growing ever stronger.
