Early the next morning.

As the sun's first faint rays appeared, Bai Yu and the others were already making preparations.

The ships docked, and horses and wagons were brought ashore. Everyone was fully armed, and they had ample supplies. Since there were relatively few of them, they did not deploy a long-range Scouting Formation.

Besides, most of the Titans on this island roamed the towns. There should not have been many on the plains or in the forests. At least, Bai Yu and the others had encountered only a handful along the way last time. Still, to be safe, they set out through the flatter terrain nearby.

They obtained more maps from the two cargo ships, supplementing their information on Marley's terrain.

There were no Titans nearby. With the Bai Yu Squad and Levi Squad taking the lead, they set off, protecting the logistics squad behind them. They kept to level ground whenever possible. As long as they could spot the Titans easily, they would not pose much of a threat.

Even if it meant taking a longer route, safety came first.

Once all the preparations were complete, Bai Yu gave the order.

"Move out!"

For now, they would first go to the place where Ming had held off the Titans, then track him based on the Titans in the surrounding area.

Don't go wandering off...

Bai Yu gazed toward the distant plains.

"Hey, Bai Yu, where are we?"

Levi looked at the mountain ahead of them and asked.

"Let's take a break first. I'll check the route!"

Bai Yu had everyone stop and surveyed their surroundings. The view was fairly open, so there was little risk of a surprise attack from Titans. It was a good spot, and the horses were getting tired anyway. They needed a rest.
