Chinatsu did not even exchange pleasantries with Kisame Hoshigaki. The instant their eyes met, she used Kotoamatsukami.
There was no helping it. He was hardly someone she could persuade to switch sides with Talk no Jutsu. He was far too stubborn. More importantly, Chinatsu had sprinted all the way from Konoha to the Land of Earth. She was exhausted and did not feel like talking.
Under Kotoamatsukami's brainwashing, Kisame Hoshigaki did not even go through a phase of resistance. He skipped straight to having his brainwashing completed.
During the brief time it took to brainwash Kisame Hoshigaki, Chinatsu looked at Roshi, who was bound beside her with his eyes still closed.
"Stop pretending to sleep. Hidan, Kakuzu, untie him." Chinatsu waved at Hidan, and the two immediately went over to untie Roshi. Yet Roshi kept his eyes firmly shut, showing no sign of waking up.
Go on! Keep pretending!
If she had not been so tired, Chinatsu would definitely have walked over and pinched Roshi's cheeks with both hands until the pain made him open his eyes.
The problem was that Chinatsu was exhausted. Hidan quickly picked up on her condition, took a large step back, and swept both hands toward the chair he had been sitting in.
"Miss, leave a little thing like waking him up to me. Please take a rest first."
Hidan gave Chinatsu a slight bow like a professional servant. But when he turned toward Roshi, the expression on his face did a complete one-eighty.
Hidan thought, You dare pretend to sleep in front of the Miss? Looks like you've forgotten what I can do!
Hidan slowly pulled a small vial of blood from his pocket. He "elegantly" unscrewed its cap, then stuck out his tongue and licked some of the blood inside.
